CAT Theatre began in 1964 as a local community theatre that reflected the neighborhood it served. We have listened to you! We know that you want plays that transport you, tickle your funny bone, warm your heart, and connect you with our world! That is our commitment to you!
In this, our 54th season, we are excited to build upon our history and our deep roots in the community by offering you a mix of genres, classic shows, and new scripts, while honoring our mission to create opportunities for aspiring and experienced actors, directors, designers and volunteers. CAT also has a long history of partnering with local community, civic, and religious groups to raise money for their worthy causes through CAT's host/sponsorship program, including providing tickets at greatly reduced rates for the groups to resell.

CAT strives to keep our tickets affordable in order to reach the widest audience and make professional theatre available to the entire community. The artistry you see on stage at CAT would not be possible without the generosity of our community. As a non-profit organization, we find that ticket sales cover about 60% of our costs. We depend on the generous support of our donors for funds needed to maintain the professional quality of our productions and for any needed capital improvements.
