Auditions

CAT Theatre Mainstage

CAT Theatre will conduct auditions for Office Hours by Norm Foster on Sunday, March 17 and Monday, March 18 at 7 pm. Auditions will be held at the theatre at 319 North Wilkinson Road, Henrico. Office Hours runs from June 7-22, 2019.

It’s Friday afternoon in the big city, and in six different offices, six different stories are unfolding at the same time. But they’re all connected somehow, from the figure skater on the ledge to the novelist in the closet. The characters are all intent on holding their lives together by keeping reality at bay, and the denials are achingly funny in this sometimes sweet, sometimes sad, sometimes poignant race toward quitting time.

Director Andrew Bryce is seeking to cast three men and two women. All actors will be paid. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY.

Performers will play multiple roles, as follows:

Man 1 (50s-60s) - a person of authority, aptitude with verbal and physical comedy, plays multiple roles

Man 2 (30s-50s) - a character actor who can play multiple roles, has great physical comedy skills
