Auditions for our next production

Chamberlayne Actors Theatre will conduct auditions for "Art of Murder" by Joe DiPietro on Sunday, July 28 and Monday, July 29 at 7 pm. Auditions will be held at the theatre at 319 North Wilkinson Road, Henrico. "Art of Murder" runs from September 27 through October 12, 2019.

In a remote estate in the countryside of Connecticut, Jack Brooks, one of the most accomplished and eccentric painters of his generation, awaits the imminent arrival of his art dealer. But the visit is not a standard one, for Jack feels wronged, and he is intending to kill the man. As Jack lays out his intentions for the evening, his wife, Annie, calmly paints. She is reluctant to go along with the plan, until Jack's threat of violence convinces her otherwise.

Director Zachary Owen is seeking to cast two men and one woman. All actors will be paid. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, please be at the theatre by 7pm.

VINCENT CUMMINGS (late 30s-mid 40s) - a high-powered, flamboyant art dealer.

KATE (20s) - An Irish immigrant. The Brooks' maid.
